About Gizziemo

A focused look at my background, visual influences, and how I build clear, collaborative partnerships.

A sleek, high-resolution flat lay of a minimalist graphic designer’s workspace, with a bold black tablet displaying an abstract, neon-accented poster design on a deep charcoal background. Surrounding it are neatly arranged color swatch cards in vivid primaries, a matte silver stylus, and a clean, unbranded notebook with sharp corners. The scene rests on a smooth, dark concrete desk with subtle texture. Bright, directional studio lighting from the left carves crisp highlights and defined shadows, emphasizing strong contrast. The background is intentionally uncluttered and softly fading to darkness. Shot from a bird’s-eye view with photographic realism, the composition is tight and centered, conveying a confident, bold, modern portfolio aesthetic.
A large, frameless monitor on a clean white desk displays a full-screen, high-contrast geometric graphic design in electric blues and hot magentas on a deep black background. Next to the monitor lies a matte-black graphics pen and a slim wireless keyboard, all meticulously aligned. The surrounding space is intentionally minimal, with only a single small monochrome plant pot in the far corner, softly blurred. Cool, controlled studio lighting creates a crisp, even illumination with gentle reflections on the screen and subtle shadows underneath the objects. Captured at eye level with a slight three-quarter angle, sharp focus on the screen and a mild falloff toward the edges. The mood is bold, futuristic, and highly professional, ideal for a digital portfolio hero image.

Graphic Design in Sharp Focus

I’m Gizziemo, a graphic designer and photographer crafting bold, black‑and‑white visuals for brands, artists, and events. Clean geometry, strong contrast, and deliberate typography shape every project, from quick social assets to full visual identities and campaigns.

A striking close-up of a glossy, high-quality printed poster leaning against a smooth concrete wall, showcasing an abstract, high-contrast graphic composition with bold typography-like shapes in crimson, cyan, and pure white on matte black. The poster sits on a low, matte charcoal shelf with a single metallic cube sculpture beside it, slightly out of focus. Dramatic side lighting from the right creates sharp, graphic shadows on the wall and a subtle reflection along the poster’s edge. The composition is photographed straight-on with a slightly low angle, emphasizing the artwork’s dominance while keeping the background minimal and uncluttered. Photographic realism with a bold, gallery-like atmosphere that highlights print work in a professional portfolio.
A dramatic photographic scene of a professional camera with a large prime lens resting on a matte black surface, surrounded by a few carefully placed, partially visible photo prints featuring high-contrast urban and abstract compositions. The camera body has a subtle sheen and crisp detailing on dials and buttons, while the prints reveal splashes of color against dark backgrounds. A single narrow beam of overhead light illuminates the camera and nearest print, leaving the rest of the frame falling into deep, velvety shadow. Captured from a low, three-quarter angle with a shallow depth of field, the focus is razor-sharp on the lens glass and front print edges. The mood is bold, cinematic, and intensely focused, perfect for emphasizing photographic work within a graphic design portfolio.
A clean, modern studio setup with three large, frameless prints arranged on a floating white wall shelf, each featuring a different bold graphic design: one vibrant abstract poster, one minimalist logo-style symbol, and one experimental typographic composition rendered as shapes. The prints are in sleek black frames with thin borders, evenly spaced for a precise, grid-like feel. Below, a simple matte-black bench holds a single closed portfolio book with a subtle embossed pattern, no visible text. Soft, diffused daylight enters from an unseen window on the left, creating gentle gradients across the wall and very light shadows under the shelf. Photographed straight-on with sharp focus throughout, the atmosphere is gallery-like, clean, and confident, ideal for a portfolio showcase section.

About

How Each Project Comes Together

Every brief starts with questions, moodboards, and rough sketches. From there, I refine concepts digitally, testing composition, type, and contrast in black and white. Final files are delivered clean, organized, and ready for print, web, or social rollout.

Work process
A high-impact image of a digital tablet lying slightly angled on a dark, textured slate surface, displaying a split-screen portfolio: one side a vivid, glitch-inspired graphic design, the other a striking monochrome photograph of architectural lines. Around the tablet are a few clipped test prints with cropped, colorful edges and a metallic ruler, partially visible and neatly aligned, hinting at precise craftsmanship. Focused, cool studio lighting from above creates crisp reflections on the tablet glass and subtle gradients on the slate texture, while the background falls quickly into soft blur. Shot from a slightly elevated three-quarter angle, the composition uses rule of thirds to keep the tablet dominant. The overall mood is bold, technical, and refined, showcasing the combination of graphic design and photography.
